Look who Lives here now

A Hermit Crab!
"Their habit of living in a second hand shell is what gave rise to the popular name "hermit crab", which is a reference to the idea of a hermit living alone in a small cave." From Wikipedia.
You can see more pictures @ Jessica's Nature Blog.

Money Crab
If you want to gift money, don't just stuff a bill into an envelope, instead fold it into a cute little crab...
... or a dolphin. It's called origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Looks very challenging to me -and you're supposed to only use one bill!
But if he can do origami, I can do origami.

Holy Cow!
Julie @ Drawn to the Sea thought that I'd win a caption contest with the statement to the Family Jump photograph. Well, I'm flattered Julie! But I'm sure any of you will come up with something more creative than Holy Cow for this one, a picture that is part of a travel slide show @ New York Times. This is what the young couple said, "This was just part of our day-to-day life while in Goa (India), making the most of the wonderful sunshine and being entertained by the antics of the cheeky cows on the beach."

A Rare Opportunity in Southampton
While browsing Sotheby's real estate listings for The Adirondack Chair -From the Mountains to the Hamptons over @ Completely Coastal, I saw this property...
... "Rare opportunity to purchase over 3.6 acres at south end of most desirable lane in the heart of Southampton's estate section. Converted Carriage House with center front hall, living room with fireplace..." and so forth..., so I looked at the rooms, one by one...
... and then along came this den..., very rare indeed! And do you see that little dog pillow?
